I am a recent Wallace Stegner Fellow at Stanford University, 2020-2022. I won the fellowship in my final semester of the Writing program at Columbia where I was nominated by the faculty for the Henfield Prize and earned my degree.

•      Completed a rigorous program, honing skills in fiction and creative nonfiction with renowned authors: Gary Schteyngart, Rivka Galchen, James Canon; thesis workshop and review with Sam Lipsyte, for fiction. With Brenda Wineapple, Hilton Als, and Margot Jefferson, for creative nonfiction.

•      Completed two years of intensive workshop, collaborating on novel revisions which lead to two National Book Award nominations.
•      Taught and mentored a diverse group of undergraduate students in the highly competitive Levinthal Tutorials, guiding them through the writing process and helping them develop their own unique literary voices.
•      Invited to continue as an instructor after completing the fellowship, leading writing seminars at the Stanford Hume Writer's Studio and Stanford Continuing Studies for the 2022-2023 academic year, reaching over 100 aspiring writers. _I still teach for Stanford Continuing Studies, remotely._
