As a pharmacist with over a decade of experience working in various healthcare settings, I’ve developed a strong foundation of pharmaceutical knowledge and effective communication. Each role has required me to translate complex scientific and medical information into clear, concise and interpretable language for various audiences. 
     A  life changing event in my own health opened my eyes to the critical role that medical information and communication play in empowering patients and healthcare professionals alike. I was able to make informed decisions about my care and was thankful to have access to research publications and literature to aid in that process.  
     I believe I would be a good fit for this program because although I do not possess direct medical writing experience, my ability to analyze and translate clinical information, my attention to detail and passion for improving patient health are elements that will make me successful in this role.
