Hello, my name is Matthew Luk. I grew up and currently live in the bay area, I graduated from SFSU in 2018 with a Bachelors in Family and Consumer Sciences with an emphasis in food service management and nutrition. After graduating I felt lost and tried random jobs to see if I could start a career and eventually started to teach myself how to code. Eventually, I felt like I needed to take the next step and enrolled in a coding bootcamp where I graduated in 2022 and now I am currently just working as a IT Supply Chain Technician while making coding projects on the side.

Handling replacement and new hire asset requests along with asset retrieval logistics which included asset management and following up with terminated users in a timely manner to meet our SLA and KPI requirements for Uber.

IT Supply Chain Technician

Worked as an IT flex technician in multiple departments. This gave me the opportunity to learn about every department and the tasks that were completed so I could offer my assistance when needed in order to meet deadlines and maintain our SLA. Some duties included provisioning and troubleshooting cellular devices and laptops for end users, shipping assets domestically and internationally, assisting with inventory management, and working closely with new hire orientation classes.

Worked closely with an optical team and optometrists to provide clientele with adjustments and repairs for their glasses, answering optical questions and trouble shooting glasses.
