I'm a recent graduate from University College Dublin with a Masters in Environmental Sustainability. I have a passion for sustainability and want to help companies reach their sustainability targets.

I wrote my thesis/practicum on the potential impact forest fires have on Irelands ability to achieve their CO2 targets. The Practicum utilizes GIS mapping to plot the potential locations for forest fires in Ireland based on numerous factors. Following that Monte-Carlo simulation was applied to project fire size (ha) and fire occurrence (x times a year) based on historical data for Ireland and climate change factors. Finally, a LCA was conducted on a previous large scale fire occurrence in Ireland to prognose the potential CO2 outputs of future large-scale fires.
