I am a student at St. Lawrence University studying Applied Mathematics and Statistics! I have committed to North Carolina State University to pursue a masters degree in an accelerated statistics program this fall. I am interested in programming, with a few years of experience using R. I enjoy research, data wrangling, and all things statistics related! I have an ongoing research project with MIT Lincoln Laboratory that I proposed over the summer.

I declared my major during my sophomore year. I have managed a heavy course load, frequently overloading on classes. I have succeeded in statistics, applied regression analysis, differential equations, calculus, theoretical mathematics courses such as Ring Theory, and data science courses including Foundations of Data Science and Statistical Methods of Data Collection. I am also fluent in German and received the Outstanding Student in German Award due to my performance in German courses in 2023.

St. Lawrence University

As a Summer Research Program Intern at MIT Lincoln Laboratory in the Air, Missile, and Maritime Defense Technology Division, I programmed in Julia to support and advance classified research projects, contributing to high-priority national security initiatives. I developed and submitted a research proposal focused on addressing women's health and pharmaceutical challenges in the context of deep space travel and military deployment. I had the opportunity to pitch this proposal to a panel that included the Laboratory Director, where it was well received and earned multiple accolades, including an award for altruism in recognition of its innovative and humanitarian focus. To support my work on classified projects, I successfully completed a government background investigation. Throughout the internship, I worked under the mentorship of leading scientists, providing regular updates on my progress and integrating feedback to refine my research strategies. This experience strengthened my technical expertise, strategic problem-solving abilities, and communication skills in a high-stakes research environment.

Summer Research Intern

As a peer tutor in Statistics, Regression Analysis, Differential Equations, Ring Theory, and German, I meet with students regularly to review and practice material learned in class. I explore a number of learning methods with a focus on identifying the best option for each student. I encourage teamwork during our sessions while also supporting independent work before reviewing together. Since starting in 2023, I have received extremely positive feedback from my students!
