I was asked to step in as Interim Program Manager while our permanent Manager was on leave. During this time, I supervised the six bed residential eating disorder treatment program at the Reasons San Marino location. My work included coordinating with our clinical, dietary, and nursing teams to develop and implement treatment plans individualized to each of our clients. I also provided daily logistical support, crisis management, and coaching for our wonderful team of Mental Health Workers, in addition to continuing with a small caseload as a primary therapist.

Program Manager

I deliver group, individual, and family therapy services to adult women enrolled in the Reasons Residential Treatment Program for eating disorder recovery. This includes facilitating process groups, CBT and DBT groups, and groups on special topics such as Grief and Loss, Identity, and Mindfulness. I also utilize a trauma-informed, somatically oriented approach to support clients in individual and family sessions. I work closely with a wonderful team of clinicians, dietitians, nursing staff, experiential therapists, and mental health workers to empower our clients to heal their relationship with food, their communities, and themselves.

Program Therapist

I provided mental health counseling services to children and youth enrolled in the Beach Cities Learning program. Beach Cities is a non-public school which provides individualized support and intervention for students who are eligible for special education due to behavioral concerns and/or disabilities. I provided individual mental health counseling, parenting support, group counseling, and coordinated the student's progress through our WAVES Behavioral Modification Model. I also helped coordinate IEPs, link students and families to community resources, and provide crisis mental health services when needed.

Mental Health Therapist

I provided evidence-based mental health services to outpatient clients, residential clients, and their families. I worked primarily with youth presenting with substance abuse and co-occurring disorders, and specialize in trauma-informed EBPs such as Seeking Safety and TF-CBT. I also offered family sessions, crisis management and risk evaluations, case management, and ongoing assessment.
