I am NC State Bar Certified Paralegal and am in the process of reinstating my Private Investigator license.  I have worked in the legal field for many years in which I handled the billing for the law firms as well as collections from start to finish for clients as well as the law firms.  I am very interested in this position if it could be 100% remote.

Review electronic cases for possible fraud; inbound/outbound calls to internal and external customers; analyze transaction patterns and respond to high-risk situations; identify changing fraud trends; verify account activity; process lost/stolen account calls.

Fraud Detection Representative

Investigate cases where there is a discrepancy in weekly certifications and unreported wages; collect and analyze payroll data and other earnings; analyze each weekly certification for correct earnings to determine potential overpayments of unemployment benefits and probable fraud in collecting those benefits; prepare potential overpayment letters; prepare conference notices; attend conferences for overpayments; attend appeal hearings.

Fraud Investigator

Duties include drafting of family law documents; preparation of documents for collection of money owed; scheduling and maintaining the calendar for meetings, court related matters; scheduling of depositions, mediations and arbitrations; office manager duties; other office duties as required.

Duties include civil billing, drafting of family law documents; preparation of documents for collection of money owed; draft wills, power of attorney, health care power of attorney and living wills; gathering of all documents and preparation of personal injury settlement brochures; scheduling and maintaining the calendar for meetings, court related matters; scheduling of depositions, mediations and arbitrations; other office duties as required.

Legal Assistant/Paralegal

Duties included transcription of dictation both civil and criminal; copying court cases; time entry and billing for the entire firm; preparation of divorce documents, wills, corporate minutes, criminal documents, collection documents, personal injury settlement brochures; collection of medical bills/notes; scheduling and maintaining the calendar for meetings, court related matters; scheduling of depositions, mediations and arbitrations; other office duties as required.
