I have worked with children for almost nine years and six of those years have been in a professional capacity as a Preschool Teacher. I have obtained numerous skills that qualify me to do a wide range of positions. Due to my teaching background I can work in fast paced environments, I have excellent observation skills and I am great at creating and distributing materials. I also pride myself on gaining specialized skills from being a Preschool Teacher for so many years. At this Preschool technology is very prominent because we give daily reports on the children through an app, versus a hand written paper. We also use Canva to create lesson plans and curriculum. This is a more traditional preschool where the children not only learn through play, but also with actual curriculum times set aside to learn basic Mathematics and literacy instruction. I have also collaborated with other teachers of different age groups of students to do one big project together. With the students being different age groups I had to make sure that even though we were all doing the same topic, that the older students' work was more challenging than the younger. These skills allow me to be wonderful at office management and staff training development.

Toddler Teacher

As a Professional assistant, my duties were to be attentive to the constant needs of the child and the household. I had the responsibilities of managing the child’s schedule as well as the household chores. I helped with scheduling and ran errands for the household as well as kept the house tidy and organized. I am very adaptable and flexible because the needs of an infant differ from the needs of a preschooler. For growing preschoolers and children, the needs  shift to creating activities and games to help occupy the child and further education. I am very observant and could easily adapt to the needs of any team that I manage with strict kindness and patience. I  start a plan for long term and short term care for the child to make sure that I am keeping up with milestone developments. This is also something I could do with a company to ensure it runs smoothly.  I did data entry on Google, Microsoft Office and Windows.

Professional Assistant

At this private Jewish Preschool, I taught Toddlers. (2 year olds). They learn through play and exploration. If I see that they are interested in a subject, I further their learning by adding to the play with different objects and materials. This enabled me to manage any projects by making them fun and not have the children burn out. I could also do this with any company. I have to be very flexible, patient, and creative. Teaching is a fast paced environment to which I excel in and could really thrive in any company. Here, I focus on not giving the children the answer, but letting them discover the answer for themselves. I will be able to guide anyone the same way. I communicate effectively with parents, supervisors and children. Parent-Teacher conferences were something I set up and spoke both orally and written.

At this private Jewish preschool, I taught 18 months- 24 months old children. My duties were to teach the children basic mathematics, literacy, science, and art. I also taught them how to communicate effectively with their peers as well as adults. My mediation and motivational speaking skills are phenomenal. At this age sensory play is very important so I do varying degrees of sensory play to teach them about the world around them. This means that I am great at hands-on demonstrations as well as putting the demonstrations or presentations together and executing them flawlessly. My number one duty is to make sure that the children are safe and cared for and as a manager I would also provide the same to my team.

18 months-24 month olds Teacher

At Broadway I was a teacher at this center. My duties are to teach the children life skills. To do personal coaching and to make sure they were always safe. 
At Ocean Park I was a Pre-K Teacher. My duties were to make sure that I got the students ready to enter Kindergarten by developing content that would challenge them, but also help them succeed.

Preschool Lead Teacher

I was a substitute Paraeducator for the school district. My duties were to teach, and monitor the students assigned to me. The children had differing abilities, such as: cerebral palsy, partial blindness, Autism, ADD, and ADHD. This sometimes included assisting with changing, lifting, feeding, etc. I am proficient at working with different people, both adults and children, who have different abilities. I can adapt and help the person thrive in the environment they are in.

Paraeducator

My duties were to watch the infants and toddlers that came in when I was not at the front desk. Organizing is also a specialty of mine. I took calls and did data entry for customers' medical insurance and made sure it was documented correctly. I filed patient’s papers, made copies, and scheduled appointments. I also did research and event coordination in order to help promote the company.

Medical Office Assistant

My duties were to provide excellent customer service to the consumers coming into the store. I helped restock products that were low on shelves or any items that customers no longer wanted to purchase. When I was not seeing to this task, I was on the register. I handled credit cards, cash, and checks at the register. I am well versed in basic mathematics. I served at least 225 people throughout the day.
