Academy of Art University

I was responsible for producing all pieces for the _Beast_ and _Vermiculation_ ranges of furniture and art objects. Responsibilities included sewing, patternmaking, construction, material sourcing, material research, and logistical planning for existing products, as well as concept development & implementation for new forms and styles. Managed a small team of employees and a rotating group of interns.

Head of Sewn Fabrication

Designed and developed a new menswear line from the ground-up, and was responsible for all aspects of design, sourcing, costing, production, and line development. Sourced contractors, directed fittings, and worked with patternmakers to create styles & refine fits. Styled and directed models for runway shows & lookbook photo shoots. Set-up company e-commerce website and implemented transaction & fraud prevention safeguards.

Designer / Production Manager

As both the Assistant Designer and Production Manager, I designed knit and woven apparel and accessories in both men’s and women’s categories for Fall 2014. Edited photos, designed the lookbook & linesheets, and created sales material for wholesale accounts. Managed overseas production in Nepal for Spring and Fall 2014

Assistant Designer

Assisted with all aspects of design in both men’s & women’s categories. Redesigned the brand’s logo, labels, signage, and print material. Styled and directed the Spring 2013 lookbook photoshoot. Shot and edited photos for linesheets.

Freelance Designer

Worked directly with the designers on the Holiday, Spring, and Fall 2013 collections for the _Band of Outsiders_ and _This Is Not A Polo Shirt_ lines.
