With over 20 years of combined legal and compliance experience, I am a seasoned and versatile professional who excels in complex and dynamic international business environments. As the VP, Assistant General Counsel Sanctions at TransRe, I led the sanctions/financial crime compliance program for all subsidiaries and branches across the US, UK, EU, Asia/Pacific, and Canada, ensuring alignment with the relevant regulatory authorities and industry best practices.  

My core competencies include compliance program development and implementation, contract drafting and negotiation, policy drafting and management, compliance team supervision, training and education, risk assessment and mitigation, and senior leadership support. I hold the ACAMS Certified Global Sanctions Specialist (CGSS) designation, demonstrating my knowledge and expertise in the field of sanctions. 

I am passionate about foreign policy and national security analysis, and I constantly monitor and advise on the regulatory landscape and the operational impact of sanctions changes. I am also skilled in commercial legal issues, commercial litigation, corporate governance, and have served as a corporate secretary to board.
