I have a background in solar. I've worked all over the country surveying for several different markets. I currently work in the commercial site survey market for electric signs.

Liberty University

I was a solar site surveyor, field inspection technician, and solar installer for Vivint Solar. I worked in multiple markets such as: New Jersey, Maryland, New York, and Utah. I mainly conducted surveys for residential homes for the installation of solar systems. I was only there for a year because I left to serve a two year LDS mission.

Site Surveyor

I started out as the sole surveyor for the company. Eventually when we grew, I trained the new surveyors in their particular tasks, while also managing their daily/weekly schedules and assisting them with any obstacles they came across.
  
At the same time I was the Field Manager for the local office. I made sure reroofs, MPU's, and other home repairs were scheduled and completed (sometimes by my own hand) in an orderly and affordable timeframe.
  
I left because the another company bought UNTD out, and they had no use for my position.

Site Survey Lead/Field Manager

I survey commercial site for the installation of electric signs, pole signs, monuments, canopies, awnings, etc. I gather all necessary and relevant structural, electrical, exterior and interior information so as to assist the permitting, engineering, fabrication and installation processes of the company to flow as smoothly as possible.
