I am an associate professor at the Department of Pediatric Surgery at Tekirdağ Namık Kemal University School of Medicine. I am working as a visiting professor at the Fetal Care Center at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. I was formerly a pediatric surgeon consultant at the clinics and gave lectures to medical students at the School of Medicine, Tekirdağ Namik Kemal University. I am working as a pediatric surgeon specialist at clinics and giving lectures to medical students at the School of Medicine. I am also advising two master students at Mathematical Engineering at Yıldız Technical University, a Ph.D. candidate at Mathematical Engineering at Yıldız Technical University and another Ph.D. candidate at Cellular and Molecular Medicine at Koç University Graduate School of Health Sciences. I run my laboratory in the university. My main field of interest is the prenatal and postnatal management of congenital diaphragmatic hernia. My research interests also include prenatal diagnostic markers and imaging modalities of congenital diseases and the development of new fetal therapeutic interventions. 
To improve my perspective in my field and improve myself, I studied and graduated from the School of Health Services Administration, Ataturk University, Erzurum, Turkey; e-MBA, Graduate School of Social Sciences, Bahçeşehir University, Istanbul, Turkey; the School of Business, Istanbul University, Istanbul, Turkey, and Applied Data Science Master’s Program, TED University, Ankara, Turkey. Moreover, I am studying my doctoral studies at Surgery and Morphological Sciences, Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona, Barcelona, Spain. All these studies allowed me to better manage my resources and ease interdisciplinary interactions during my activities.
