Hello, my name is Charlene Suh and I'm thrilled to share that I am in the final semester of my college journey and set to graduate in May 2024. My academic focus has been on pursuing a business major with a specialization in Human Resources. Throughout my academic journey, I had the privilege of interning at Hacienda La Puente Unified School District. This experience allowed me to put into practice the knowledge acquired through school within a professional work environment. In addition to my studies, I hold a part-time position at Target, where I have progressed to the role of a trainer. In this capacity, I am entrusted with communicating the company's values, assimilating new team members into the organizational culture, and instructing them in the essential principles of the business.

Upon completing my studies, I aspire to assume the role of the head of the Human Resources department at the prestigious luxury car company, Porsche. I intend to pursue SHRM certification and, looking ahead, further my education through a master's program in Human Resources and Employment Law.

During my education, I gained knowledge about various aspects of managing personnel within an organization. This includes topics such as recruitment and selection, employee training and development, performance management, compensation and benefits, employee relations, labor laws, diversity and inclusion, and strategic HR planning. I also studied organizational behavior, psychology, and communication skills to effectively manage and support employees in the workplace. Additionally, I studied employment law, specifically civil rights laws, and how it applies to the workforce. Overall, my HR education equips me with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively manage human capital and contribute to organizational success.
