I worked in the health center of the Thacher Boarding school with a team of wonderful nurses, and providers. I assisted nurses in their daily tasks, took vitals, set up exam rooms, made appointments, and updated patient charts along with any other activities to aid everyday workflow.

Medical Assistant

As a barista I served a variety of beverages, as well as pastries and food. I worked with my team to keep a clean environment and provide excellent customer service to every customer. I managed the register taking complicated orders and ensuring customers recieved accurate change.

Barista

I served all customers by seating them around the pool and preparing the area with towels, umbrellas, and water. I aided servers by keeping a clean area and ensuring smooth workflow. I greeted a customers with a smile and answered any questions they may have.

Pool Attendant

I aided lab instructors by setting up and putting away lab materials. I assisted students with any questions they may have regarding lab instructions and safety. I maintained chemical waste and assisted student in proper disposal.

Chemistry Lab TA

I shadowed a group of physicians during daily rounds on the labor and delivery floor. I observed cesarean sections and other minor procedures. I scribed for one physician during her regular office appointments. As well I attended lectures provided for new residents in the hospital.
