Directed Information Technology across IT Systems, Network Infrastructure, Security, Project Management, and IT Service Desk with 6 direct reports and numerous consultants. Annual budget of $6.5M in a $1.25B enterprise as a direct report to the Corporate CFO.

Select Accomplishments:
·        Rearchitected the company’s Field production application from an outdated platform to a .NET platform that allowed the application to ultimately function on iOS platform. This allowed large savings by using Apple iPads instead of laptops.
·        Implemented new connectivity at all 53 office locations allowing for significant improvement in infrastructure uptime. Some larger locations were configured with High availability and multiple firewalls.
·        Handled all aspects of software licensing. When I arrived, there were no licenses in place, and we quickly implemented a solution needed to bring the organization into compliance with software manufacturers.
·        Rearchitected the corporate datacenter to run on properly sized UPS devices and A/C units. Also implemented a secondary Disaster Recovery Hot site at Expedient datacenter in Carmel, IN.
·        Rearchitected the sewer video trucks upload process saving lots of money, time, and rework for field crews.
·        Identifies and eliminates security vulnerabilities using strategic solutions to enhance data security.
·        Successfully migrated 2,350 user email accounts from on-prem Exchange to cloud based O365 accounts.

Directed Information Technology across IT Systems, Network Infrastructure, Security, Project Management, and IT Service Desk with 9 direct reports and numerous consultants. Annual budget of $4.5M in a $3.5B enterprise as a direct report to the Corporate COO.

Select Accomplishments:
·        Architected the controls environment from scratch.
·        Implemented an IT Steering committee that provided all Business Units with input in the IT Departments project workload and helped provide project prioritization.
·        Architected two different Datacenters including power, A/C, fire suppression and wiring between multiple floors in high rise location.
·        Proposed strategic business system solutions that included Risk, Gas Management, CRM and other systems.
·        Prepared financial budgets and performance reports.
·        Built and maintained relationships with external advisors and vendors.
·        Implemented a monthly maintenance window.  Maintenace happened on the Saturday after the 15th of each month. We started at 6:00 PM Saturday night and went until all items were completed. This allowed for minimal downtime.

·        Built a helpdesk that oversaw the deployment of all VoIP telecom, Laptops, Servers, and other devices.
·        Implemented a Helpdesk/software development tool with full process tracking that would allow auditors to view all items completed during a fiscal year for SOX compliance.
·        Implemented many servers in the environment that grew to 65 servers across two physical locations.
·        Implemented a voice recording system to hold calls made by traders and marketing employees to be used for dispute resolution and ongoing legal matters.
·        Implemented a data wall on the trade floor. The data wall was made up of 8 TVs with zero bezels and could be split into multiple quadrants with multiple data feeds.

Information Technology Manager

Managed all Windows and Novell based servers. Managed email servers for 1,200+ users, assisted with Network Infrastructure. Reported directly to the Director of Information Technology.

·        **Maintained and administered the computer network** and related computing environment, including systems software, applications software, hardware, and configurations.
·        Performed disaster recovery operations and data backups when required.
·        Managed the company’s email environment for 1,200+ users.
·        Assisted with the implementation of a core switch replacement. This project took multiple days to complete.
