I am a senior at Cornell University pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Biology and Society and a minor in Business. I have a background in both STEM and Business, I am excited about the opportunity to contribute my skills to your organization.

This major combines training in biology with perspectives from the social sciences and humanities on the social, political and ethical aspects of modern biology. I have also successful completed a business minor through the SC Johnson College of Business.

Summer Intern – Healthcare Industry Group (HIG)

Selected for dual internships in Newborn Blood Cord study and an ACUTE Post Covid19 study for Children
Performed lab research for Dr. Lance A. Parton. Participated in study on the effectiveness of use of newborn cord blood (collected at birth) during cardiovascular bypass surgery vs. multiple other blood products. Tests performed included de-identified whole cord blood including pH, sodium (Na+), potassium (K+), lactate, lactate dehydrogenase (LDH), plasma free hemoglobin, adenosine triphosphate (ATP), and red blood cell 2,3-DPG concentration. Assisted in manuscript preparation for publication
Conducted contact research for NIH funded multicenter study, on health variations from the impact of Covid19 in children, to identify common markers for severity of COVID19 through saliva and blood samples
