*   managing a comprehensive inventory management system of reagents, tracks routine items, receives and distribute deliveries and packages coupled with ordering of chemicals, supplies and equipment and making them available in a timely manner.
*   keeping track of departmental expenditure, budget and overseeing other expenses incurred in the department.
*   serving as a primary liaison with the office between the Office of Environmental health and safety (EHS) and the University's safety committee and ensuring the availability of MSDS for purchased chemicals are available in CEMS.
