* Spearheaded the initial backend development of the Rezku POS, including the design of a complex database architecture and RESTful endpoint design in Python, PostgreSQL, and SQLAlchemy. The resulting backend system enabled the iOS developer to create the Rezku POS app, the company's flagship and most significant revenue-generating product.
* Led the development of the Rezku Back Office, an Angular and TypeScript application that allowed restaurant managers to manage their business, including adding new menu items, changing prices, handling payroll, and any integrations for the Rezku POS. As the company's only JavaScript and TypeScript engineer, oversaw all development of this product, which was a crucial piece of Rezku POS's business model.
* During the initial downturn of the COVID-19 pandemic, led the development of the Rezku Online Ordering system, an Angular and Python application developed remotely and released to production within 2 weeks. Initially offering only cash-only pickup, the system quickly grew into a full-fledged online ordering web application with online delivery and credit card and gift card processing. During the initial phase of the pandemic, the Rezku Online Ordering system was the company's primary source of revenue and allowed it to continue operations.
* Developed and maintained all consumer-facing Rezku websites for all 5 of their products. These websites were mainly written using JavaScript and jQuery with a Python Pyramid backend and consisted of up to 100 static pages for some of the websites. As the only JavaScript engineer, did all development for these sites, ensuring each page was functional, responsive, and search engine optimized.
