Job Description

  1. Conduct research and stay up-to-date on occupational health and safety regulations and guidelines to ensure compliance within the company.
  2. Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to promote a healthy and safe work environment for all employees.
  3. Collaborate with various departments to identify potential safety hazards and recommend solutions to prevent accidents or injuries.
  4. Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  5. Assist in the preparation and delivery of training programs on occupational health and safety topics to educate employees and increase awareness.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of workplace incidents, injuries, and illnesses, and assist with the completion of required reports and documentation.
  7. Collaborate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to coordinate employee health services and manage workers' compensation claims.
  8. Communicate regularly with employees to promote safety awareness and provide guidance on safe work practices.
  9. Participate in incident investigations and provide recommendations to prevent future incidents.
  10. Continuously evaluate and improve occupational health and safety processes and procedures to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
  11. Assist in the management of the company's safety equipment and supplies, including ordering, maintaining, and tracking inventory.
  12. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive health and safety information.
  13. Attend relevant training and conferences to stay updated on industry best practices and trends.
  14. Collaborate with management to develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures.
  15. Participate in safety committee meetings and contribute ideas and suggestions for improving the company's health and safety culture.

Job Qualifications
  • Certified Occupational Health Nurse (Cohn) Or Registered Nurse (Rn) License

  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing, Public Health, Or Related Field

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In Occupational Health Or Equivalent Healthcare Setting

  • Knowledge Of Osha Regulations And Workers' Compensation Laws

  • Strong Communication And Organizational Skills, With Ability To Work Independently And As Part Of A Team.
