
Biotechnology Scientist or Engineer
At Procter & Gamble (P&G), we are looking for an experienced and innovative Biotechnology Scientist or Engineer to join our team. This position requires a highly motivated individual with an understanding of both biochemical and engineering principles. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 3 years of relevant experience. The Biotechnology Scientist or Engineer will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of scientists and engineers to deliver projects on time and within budget. The successful candidate will be able to apply their knowledge of biochemistry, molecular biology, and/or fermentation processes to design, develop, and implement new biotechnological processes and tools. They will also be responsible for monitoring new trends and technologies, maintaining laboratory operations, and troubleshooting technical issues. The successful candidate will have a passion for biotechnology, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. They will be eager to take on challenges and embrace opportunities to learn and grow. Most importantly, they will be a team player with a positive attitude and an enthusiasm for delivering results.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement new biotechnological processes and tools in accordance with biochemical and engineering principles.
- Monitor new trends and technologies in the biotechnology field.
- Maintain laboratory operations and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of scientists and engineers to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Utilize knowledge of biochemistry, molecular biology, and/or fermentation processes to develop new processes and tools.
- Remain current with scientific literature and advancements in biotechnology.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members.
- Manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
- Demonstrate a passion for biotechnology and an enthusiasm for delivering results.
