- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and threats to the company's profits and assets.
- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks and prevent losses.
- Conduct regular surveillance of the store premises to identify any suspicious or criminal activity.
- Monitor and analyze data to identify patterns and trends in theft, fraud, and other security-related incidents.
- Collaborate with store management and other departments to identify areas for improvement in security procedures and protocols.
- Conduct investigations into any reported incidents, including theft, fraud, and workplace safety issues.
- Liaise with law enforcement and other external agencies as needed.
- Train and educate employees on security protocols and procedures to ensure compliance.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in security technology and make recommendations for implementation.
- Prepare reports and presentations on security-related matters for senior management.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Respond promptly to any security-related emergencies.
- Conduct audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external security vendors and contractors.
- Act as a point of contact for employees, customers, and external agencies for any security-related concerns or inquiries.
Knowledge Of Retail Security Best Practices: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Strong Understanding Of Security Protocols And Procedures In A Retail Setting, Including Loss Prevention Techniques, Cctv Surveillance, And Inventory Control.
