Job Description

The opportunity to join the Primark team as an Ethical Trade Manager is an exciting one. We are looking for an individual with a passion for ethical standards and quality assurance, excellent communication skills, and an ability to work collaboratively and problem-solve.You will be responsible for managing Primark’s ethical trade strategy, ensuring that suppliers, factories and subcontractors are fully compliant with our ethical standards. You will need to be a highly motivated, enthusiastic individual with the ability to establish relationships with our suppliers in order to ensure that our ethical standards are met and upheld.To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in ethical trade, quality assurance, and/or compliance, preferably within the retail/fashion industry. A degree in a relevant field is preferred, but not essential. You must also have excellent communication skills, with the ability to monitor, assess, and review supplier performance in an effective manner. A good understanding of international ethical trade requirements and the ability to identify potential risks and issues is essential.We are looking for someone who is passionate about driving ethical change and who is invested in the long-term success of Primark.
