  1. Lead and manage the implementation of tax software and systems for clients, ensuring timely and successful delivery of projects.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and understand client needs, and develop customized tax technology solutions that meet their requirements.
  3. Utilize your expertise in tax processes and technology to drive innovation and transformation in clients' tax functions.
  4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as their primary point of contact for all tax technology-related matters.
  5. Provide guidance and direction to team members, delegating tasks and responsibilities to ensure the successful completion of projects.
  6. Monitor project timelines and budgets, proactively identifying and addressing any issues or risks that may arise.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in tax technology, and incorporate these insights into the development and implementation of solutions.
  8. Act as a subject matter expert and thought leader, presenting at conferences and events to showcase PricewaterhouseCoopers' expertise in tax technology.
  9. Collaborate with sales teams to identify new business opportunities and contribute to the development of proposals and presentations.
  10. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, identifying areas for process optimization and implementing best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of tax technology projects.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Knowledge Of Tax Laws And Regulations: The Tax Software & Systems Implementation Director Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Both Federal And State Tax Laws, As Well As Any Relevant International Tax Laws. This Knowledge Is Necessary For Designing And Implementing Tax Software Systems That Are Compliant With All Regulations.

  • Experience With Tax Software Implementation: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Previous Experience In Implementing Tax Software Systems For Large Organizations. This Includes Knowledge Of Different Tax Software Packages, Project Management Skills, And The Ability To Troubleshoot And Resolve Technical Issues.

  • Strong Leadership And Communication Skills: As A Director, This Individual Will Be Responsible For Managing A Team Of Tax Professionals And Working Closely With Clients. Therefore, Excellent Leadership And Communication Skills Are Essential For Effectively Delegating Tasks, Managing Expectations, And Building Strong Relationships With Clients.

  • Technical Proficiency: The Tax Software & Systems Implementation Director Should Have A Strong Background In Technology And A Thorough Understanding Of Software Development Processes. This Includes Knowledge Of Coding Languages, Database Management, And Experience With Software Testing And Quality Assurance.

  • Advanced Degree And Relevant Certifications: A Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or A Related Field Is Typically Required For This Role. Additionally, Relevant Certifications Such As A Certified Public Accountant (Cpa) Or A Project Management Professional (Pmp) Certification Are Highly Valued By Pricewaterhousecoopers.
