Job Description

PwC is seeking an experienced and motivated Tax Associate to join our team. Our Tax Associates are responsible for providing tax compliance and consulting services to a variety of clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and an understanding of tax regulations. The Tax Associate must be able to work independently and in a team environment. If you are a detail-oriented professional with a passion for tax, we want to hear from you!Required Qualifications:A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or another related fieldA minimum of 2 years of public accounting experience in a tax roleAbility to communicate effectively and professionally, both verbally and in writingProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, and WordStrong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skillsAbility to work independently and in a team environmentKnowledge of US income tax regulations

Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare and file tax returns for a variety of clients
  2. Ensure complete accuracy and compliance with all applicable tax regulations
  3. Identify and analyze potential tax savings opportunities
  4. Provide tax consulting services to clients
  5. Understand and interpret tax regulations
  6. Develop and maintain relationships with clients
  7. Ensure all deadlines are met
  8. Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations
  9. Prepare tax projections and forecasts
  10. Perform research on tax issues and regulations
  11. Assist with special projects as needed
  12. Provide guidance and training to junior staff members
