  1. Lead and manage a team of professionals within the Research & Development Credit Specialized Tax Services department.
  2. Provide strategic direction and guidance to team members, ensuring high-quality and efficient delivery of tax consulting services to clients.
  3. Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and providing valuable insights and solutions.
  4. Stay up-to-date on industry developments and changes in tax laws and regulations related to research and development credits.
  5. Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify potential tax savings opportunities for clients.
  6. Collaborate with other departments within the firm to leverage resources and provide comprehensive solutions to clients.
  7. Train and mentor team members, fostering their professional growth and development.
  8. Actively participate in business development initiatives, including networking and pursuing new client opportunities.
  9. Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
  10. Contribute to the overall success and growth of the firm by actively promoting PwC's services and values.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Tax Laws And Regulations: The Senior Manager Should Possess A Thorough Understanding Of Tax Laws And Regulations Related To Research And Development Credits, Including Federal And State Tax Laws.

  • Experience In Research And Development Tax Credit Services: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Several Years Of Experience In Providing Specialized Tax Services Related To Research And Development Credits, Including Experience In Preparing, Reviewing, And Defending R&D Credit Claims.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: As A Senior Manager, The Individual Should Possess Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills To Effectively Identify And Evaluate Potential R&D Credit Opportunities For Clients.

  • Leadership And Team Management Abilities: The Job Requires Strong Leadership Skills To Manage A Team Of Professionals And Guide Them In Providing High-Quality R&D Credit Services To Clients. The Senior Manager Should Also Be Able To Develop And Maintain Strong Relationships With Clients.

  • Communication And Presentation Skills: Effective Communication And Presentation Skills Are Crucial For This Role As The Senior Manager Will Be Responsible For Communicating Complex Tax Concepts To Clients In A Clear And Concise Manner. They Should Also Be Able To Present Findings And Recommendations To Clients And Other Stakeholders.
