  1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with insurance clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored tax solutions.
  2. Conduct thorough research and analysis of complex tax laws and regulations, and provide strategic tax planning advice to clients.
  3. Prepare and review tax filings, including federal and state income tax returns, for insurance clients.
  4. Stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations that may impact insurance clients, and proactively advise them on potential risks and opportunities.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams within PricewaterhouseCoopers to ensure seamless delivery of services to clients.
  6. Train and mentor junior staff members on insurance tax matters and provide guidance on complex client issues.
  7. Build and maintain a network of industry contacts to stay informed of industry trends and best practices.
  8. Manage client engagements and ensure timely and accurate delivery of services within budget constraints.
  9. Represent PricewaterhouseCoopers at industry events and conferences to promote our services and expertise in insurance tax.
  10. Continuously identify opportunities to improve and streamline tax processes and procedures within the insurance practice.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Knowledge Of Insurance Industry Regulations: The Insurance Tax Director Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Tax Laws And Regulations Specific To The Insurance Industry, Including Compliance Requirements And Reporting Standards.

  • Extensive Experience In Tax Planning And Strategy: This Role Requires A Deep Understanding Of Tax Planning Strategies For Insurance Companies, Including Mergers And Acquisitions, Reorganizations, And Restructuring.

  • Leadership And Management Skills: As A Director Level Position, The Candidate Must Have Proven Experience In Managing And Leading A Team Of Tax Professionals. They Should Possess Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Manage Relationships With Clients And Internal Stakeholders.

  • Cpa Or Other Relevant Certification: A Strong Background In Accounting And Tax Is Essential For This Role, And Holding A Cpa Or Other Relevant Certification Is Highly Preferred.

  • Experience In A Big 4 Or Large Accounting Firm: Pricewaterhousecoopers Is A Top Accounting Firm, And The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have Previous Experience Working In A Similar Environment, Preferably With A Focus On Insurance Clients.
