- Conduct research and analysis on global trade and tax regulations to support client projects.
- Participate in client meetings and assist in developing strategies to optimize their customs and international trade tax processes.
- Assist in preparing and reviewing import/export documentation for clients.
- Collaborate with team members to identify potential issues and provide recommendations for resolution.
- Stay up-to-date on changes in customs and international trade regulations and communicate updates to team members and clients.
- Assist in conducting risk assessments and identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements for clients.
- Work closely with senior team members to gain hands-on experience and develop skills in the customs and international trade tax field.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of client projects and tasks.
- Support the team in preparing presentations and reports for clients.
- Demonstrate a strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks and projects.
- Uphold ethical standards and maintain confidentiality of client information.
- Actively participate in team discussions and contribute innovative ideas to enhance client services.
- Build a strong understanding of PwC's customs and international trade tax services and assist in marketing efforts.

Knowledge Of Customs And International Trade Laws: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Customs And International Trade Laws, Regulations, And Compliance Requirements. This Includes Knowledge Of Tariff Classification, Valuation, Country Of Origin Rules, And Free Trade Agreements.
Analytical Skills: As A Customs & International Trade Tax Intern, The Candidate Will Be Required To Analyze Complex Trade Data And Identify Potential Tax Savings Opportunities For Clients. Strong Analytical Skills, Attention To Detail, And The Ability To Work With Large Datasets Are Essential For This Role.
Communication Skills: The Candidate Should Possess Excellent Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal. They Will Be Responsible For Preparing Reports, Presentations, And Communicating With Clients And Team Members Effectively.
Familiarity With Trade Management Systems: Pwc Uses Various Trade Management Systems To Assist Clients With Trade Compliance And Tax Planning. Experience With These Systems, Such As Sap Gts, Oracle Gtm, Or Amber Road, Is Highly Desirable For This Role.
