Integrate PriceSmart philosophy and the Six Rights of Merchandising into the daily operation. Communicate with Export Sales Manager on problem vendors and items. Source similar /replacement items ordered by customer which “cannot be shipped” or are no longer available. Maintain in-depth knowledge of merchandise within responsible categories. Investigate new ways to purchase merchandise effectively and efficiently. Review accuracy of Purchase Order vs. Pro Forma Invoice to ensure that resultant GM is achieved as planned. Assist Export Sales Manager with proposed price changes for review. Inform customer of any upcoming price changes so that the customer can plan accordingly. Maintain accurate vendor records. Track order status and timely pick up of customer’s orders.
