  1. Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable, and efficient software solutions using Rust.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative features and functionalities.
  3. Lead and mentor junior engineers on best practices for coding, testing, and debugging in Rust.
  4. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality and maintain consistency.
  5. Continuously research and evaluate new technologies and techniques to enhance the performance and capabilities of our software.
  6. Work closely with product managers and designers to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  7. Ensure proper documentation of code, processes, and procedures for future reference and knowledge sharing.
  8. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
  9. Proactively identify and address system bottlenecks and performance issues.
  10. Collaborate with DevOps team to enhance the CI/CD pipeline and deployment processes.
  11. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in Rust and related technologies.
  12. Promote a culture of continuous learning, experimentation, and innovation within the team.
  13. Adhere to coding standards, development processes, and project timelines.
  14. Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and management on project progress, challenges, and solutions.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience In Rust Programming Language: The Ideal Candidate For The Senior Software Engineer (Rust) Role At Priceline Should Have A Deep Understanding And Proficiency In Rust Programming Language. They Should Possess Hands-On Experience In Developing Complex Applications Using Rust.

  • Knowledge Of Web Development And Modern Technologies: The Candidate Should Have A Strong Foundation In Web Development And Experience Working With Modern Technologies Like Html5, Css3, Javascript, And Frameworks Like Angular, React, And Vue.

  • Strong Understanding Of Software Design Patterns: A Senior Software Engineer Should Have A Solid Understanding Of Software Design Patterns And Be Able To Apply Them To Solve Complex Problems. They Should Also Have Experience In Designing Scalable And Maintainable Software Systems.
