As the Director of Accounts Payable, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the payment process for our company. - Oversee the entire accounts payable process for Priceline, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all payments made to vendors.
- Lead and manage a team of accounts payable specialists, providing guidance and support to ensure department goals are met.
- Develop and implement efficient and effective accounts payable procedures and controls to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency.
- Review and approve all invoices and payment requests, verifying accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Communicate and collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to resolve any payment discrepancies or issues.
- Maintain vendor relationships and negotiate payment terms and discounts to optimize cash flow for the company.
- Prepare and present regular reports and analysis to senior management on accounts payable activities, including payment trends, vendor performance, and potential cost-saving opportunities.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulations related to accounts payable processes and make recommendations for improvements as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, including GAAP and company policies, in all accounts payable activities.
- Train and develop team members to ensure a high level of performance and productivity within the accounts payable department.
Bachelor's Degree In Accounting Or Finance: This Is A Basic Requirement For Most Director Positions At Priceline, As It Ensures A Strong Foundation In Financial Principles And Practices.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Accounts Payable: Priceline Is Looking For Candidates Who Have A Deep Understanding Of The Accounts Payable Process And Have Demonstrated Success In Managing A Team In This Area.
Strong Leadership And Management Skills: As A Director, Accounts Payable, The Individual Will Be Responsible For Leading And Managing A Team Of Ap Professionals. Therefore, Priceline Is Looking For Candidates Who Have A Proven Track Record Of Effectively Managing And Motivating A Team.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: This Role Involves Working Closely With Various Departments And External Vendors, So Strong Communication Skills Are Essential For Building Relationships And Resolving Conflicts.
