Job Description

  1. Collaborate with the gas engineering team to contribute to the development and maintenance of PPL Corp.'s gas infrastructure.
  2. Work on assigned projects and tasks under the guidance and mentorship of experienced engineers.
  3. Participate in team meetings and provide input and suggestions for improving processes and procedures.
  4. Conduct research and gather data to support engineering projects and initiatives.
  5. Assist in creating and reviewing technical documents and reports.
  6. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations while working on projects.
  7. Communicate effectively with team members and other stakeholders to provide progress updates and share ideas.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Mechanical Or Chemical Engineering: A Strong Educational Background In Engineering Is Essential For This Role, As It Will Provide A Solid Foundation In The Principles And Practices Of Gas Engineering.

  • Prior Internship Or Work Experience In The Energy Industry: Having Previous Experience In The Energy Industry, Specifically With Gas Operations, Will Demonstrate A Practical Understanding Of The Field And Make For A Smoother Transition Into The Internship.

  • Knowledge Of Gas Distribution Systems And Safety Protocols: Familiarity With Gas Distribution Systems And Safety Procedures Is Crucial For This Role, As The Intern Will Be Working With Potentially Hazardous Materials And Equipment.

  • Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: The Ability To Analyze Data, Identify Problems, And Come Up With Effective Solutions Is Essential For This Role, As The Intern Will Be Involved In Various Projects And Tasks Related To Gas Operations.
