Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop mechanical systems and components for PPL Corp.’s products.
2. Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to create plans, schematics, and other drawings as needed.
3. Collaborate with other engineers and team members on project design and development.
4. Conduct research and analyze data to identify trends and suggest solutions to mechanical problems.
5. Develop detailed plans and specifications for mechanical designs.
6. Modify existing designs to improve efficiency and performance.
7. Inspect and test mechanical systems and components to ensure adherence to safety standards.
8. Prepare reports, diagrams, and charts to document and communicate design processes and results.
9. Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues in a timely manner.
10. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of engineering and technical developments in the field.
