Health and Safety Manager

Responsibilities:

1. Develop, implement, and evaluate health and safety plans, policies, and procedures in accordance with local and federal regulations and guidelines.
2. Monitor safety performance by conducting inspections, tests, and audits, and identify areas of improvement.
3. Provide safety training and education to all personnel to ensure understanding of regulations and policies.
4. Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root cause and develop corrective action plans.
5. Monitor and report safety performance metrics to upper management.
6. Maintain records and documentation related to safety and health activities.
7. Establish and maintain positive relationships with local, state, and federal regulatory authorities.
8. Create a culture of safety and health by developing and promoting safety awareness activities and campaigns.
9. Stay informed of changes in safety regulations and industry best practices.
10. Lead safety committees and meetings.
