
Health and Safety Manager

To be successful in this role, the Health and Safety Manager should have: • A Bachelor’s Degree in occupational safety and health, engineering, or a related field• At least 5 years of experience in a health and safety-related role• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Detailed knowledge of OSHA regulations• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills• The ability to lead and motivate a team• Flexibility to adjust to an ever-changing environment
Responsibilities: • Ensure the safety of all employees and customers in accordance with OSHA regulations. • Develop and implement safety policies and procedures. • Monitor health and safety standards, and take corrective action when needed. • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections. • Maintain detailed records of safety incidents and injuries. • Investigate accidents and injuries, and develop preventive measures. • Educate and train employees in safety protocols and procedures. • Create safety awareness programs and provide safety-related information. • Prepare and review risk assessments. • Maintain relationships with outside safety consultants and agencies. • Keep up to date with new regulations and best practices.
