Health and Safety Manager

In addition, you should have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, a strong understanding of current safety regulations, and the ability to stay organized. Responsibilities:

1. Lead and mentor the team in health and safety protocols and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.
2. Develop and maintain safety-related policies, standards, and procedures.
3. Perform regular safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
4. Investigate and analyze incidents to identify root cause and develop corrective actions.
5. Develop and implement safety training programs.
6. Monitor and review safety performance metrics and report on progress.
7. Assist in the development of safety budgets and secure adequate resources for safety initiatives.
8. Liaise with external safety stakeholders such as inspectors, regulatory bodies, and insurance companies.
9. Remain up-to-date on changes in safety regulations and standards.
10. Develop and implement emergency response plans.
