Job Description

PPL Corp. is looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as an Environmental Specialist. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of environmental regulations and standards, with the ability to develop and implement effective strategies to ensure compliance. We require a Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, engineering, or a related field, as well as a minimum of three years of relevant experience. Additionally, the successful candidate must possess strong communication and organizational skills, and demonstrate a commitment to excellence in all aspects of their work. Responsibilities:

  1. Create and implement environmental policies and procedures that are consistent with local, state, and federal regulations.
  2. Monitor and inspect facilities to ensure compliance with environmental laws and regulations.
  3. Maintain accurate records of all inspections and findings.
  4. Develop and implement environmental education programs for employees and the public.
  5. Collect, analyze, and interpret environmental data.
  6. Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to management and stakeholders.
  7. Identify potential environmental hazards and risks, and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  8. Liaise with government agencies and other stakeholders on environmental issues.
  9. Stay abreast of current environmental regulations and trends.
  10. Provide guidance, support, and technical assistance to other staff members.

Job Qualifications
