Job Description

PPL Corp. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Energy Trader to join our dynamic team. This individual will be responsible for managing our energy portfolio and will be an integral part of the trading and risk management team. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated history of success and possess a strong understanding of the markets.We are looking for a candidate who is results-driven, has excellent communication skills, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, a minimum of 5 years of experience in energy trading, and a thorough knowledge of energy markets. The Energy Trader must be detail-oriented and organized, and have the ability to analyze market conditions and make decisions quickly. Responsibilities:

  1. Execute and manage energy trades in the market.
  2. Monitor energy markets and analyze market conditions to identify opportunities and risks.
  3. Develop and maintain relationships with energy trading partners.
  4. Analyze trading data and provide detailed reports to management.
  5. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.
  6. Monitor and manage risk associated with energy trading activities.
  7. Proactively identify and address potential issues.
  8. Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure trading objectives are met.
  9. Remain up to date with relevant industry news and developments.
  10. Provide technical support and guidance to team members.
