Job Description

PPL Corp. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Energy Analyst to join our team. As an Energy Analyst at PPL Corp., you will be responsible for conducting detailed analysis of energy usage and recommending strategies for reducing energy consumption and ensuring compliance with energy regulatory standards. The ideal candidate for this role should have a strong technical background in energy analysis, coupled with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute detailed energy analysis plans to identify areas of energy consumption and inefficiencies.
  2. Monitor energy usage trends and propose strategies for reducing energy consumption and improving energy efficiency.
  3. Research and evaluate relevant energy regulations and standards, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  4. Develop energy reports and presentations to summarize current energy consumption and recommend strategies for improved energy efficiency.
  5. Work closely with the engineering team to design energy-efficient solutions for existing and new products.
  6. Track energy utilization and performance metrics to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  7. Analyze data from energy monitoring systems to identify areas of improvement and develop actionable recommendations.
  8. Participate in industry events and conferences to stay up-to-date with current energy trends and practices.
  9. Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure successful implementation of energy efficiency strategies.
  10. Provide technical support to internal and external stakeholders on energy-related matters.
