Communications Specialist

We’re looking for an experienced Communications Specialist to join our team at PPL Corp. to help us reach new heights in our communications and public relations activities. In this critical role, you’ll be responsible for developing and executing our communications strategy, creating content, and managing our external outreach efforts.To be successful in this role, you’ll need to have a strong background in communications, public relations, and/or marketing. You should have excellent writing and editing skills, be able to think strategically, and be comfortable working on multiple projects at once. Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute a comprehensive communications strategy
2. Create content for various communications channels, such as press releases, website content, and social media
3. Manage external outreach efforts, such as media relations, influencer relations, and content partnerships
4. Stay up-to-date with the latest communications and public relations trends
5. Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure communications are aligned with organizational goals
6. Monitor and analyze the performance of communications activities
7. Establish relationships with key stakeholders in the industry, including media outlets, influencers, and other partners
8. Write and edit content for various platforms, such as newsletters and marketing materials
9. Develop creative and effective strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement
