At PPL Corp, we are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Communications Specialist to join our team and help us create, implement, and assess our comprehensive communication plans. If you have a passion for developing and executing effective communication strategies, then this could be the opportunity for you!The Communications Specialist will be responsible for creating and implementing effective strategies to communicate with internal and external stakeholders. You will also be responsible for developing and producing clear and concise written materials, including press releases, website content, emails, and other materials. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as the ability to effectively manage projects and deadlines.To be considered for this position, you must have a bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, or a related field. A minimum of three years of experience in communications is also required, along with demonstrated success in developing and executing communication plans. Experience in a corporate environment is preferred. Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute effective communication strategies for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Produce clear and concise written materials, including press releases, website content, emails, and other materials.
- Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of communication plans.
- Prepare reports and presentations related to communication plans.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to ensure successful project completion.
- Utilize social media platforms to promote PPL Corp’s initiatives.
- Maintain current knowledge of best practices and trends in the communications field.
- Provide administrative support for the communications team.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
