Sr Manager, Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry

We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Manager, Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry professional to join our team at PPD-Pharmaceutical Product Development. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead and manage our Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry laboratory operations and staff. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in the field as well as leadership experience in a laboratory setting. An advanced degree in Chemistry or a related field is preferred. You should also have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong organizational and interpersonal skills, and a strong ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Additionally, you should be proficient in MS Office, able to understand and interpret scientific data, and have a good understanding of laboratory safety practices and regulations.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage laboratory operations and staff in the Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry laboratory.
2. Develop and maintain laboratory standards and processes.
3. Establish and enforce laboratory safety protocols and regulations.
4. Work with other laboratory staff to design experiments and analyze results.
5. Collaborate with other departments to ensure successful project completion.
6. Develop and implement new technologies, processes, and procedures.
7. Train and mentor laboratory personnel.
8. Monitor laboratory budget and maintain inventory.
9. Analyze and interpret scientific data.
10. Prepare and present technical reports and presentations.
