Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Compliance Specialist to join the team at PPD-Pharmaceutical Product Development. The ideal candidate will have a proven record of success in meeting compliance standards while ensuring operational excellence. The Senior Compliance Specialist will work closely with the Compliance Team to ensure organizational compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines.To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a compliance or risk management role, with a focus on the healthcare sector. You should be an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills, and you must have a working knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines. Additionally, you should have experience developing, implementing, and monitoring compliance programs and risk management activities. A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor and review organizational compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines.
  2. Develop, implement, and monitor compliance programs and risk management activities.
  3. Advise the Compliance Team on best practices and help identify areas of potential risk.
  4. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in the applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines.
  5. Prepare and review reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  6. Develop and update procedures, policies, and processes related to compliance and risk management.
  7. Track and report compliance metrics and performance.
  8. Conduct compliance and risk management training for staff.
  9. Act as a point of contact and provide guidance to staff on compliance and risk management inquiries.
  10. Investigate compliance and risk management issues and develop mitigation plans.
