We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Scientific Affairs Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical role in supporting our clients' drug development processes by providing scientific expertise and strategic guidance.   1. Conduct thorough research and analysis on various pharmaceutical and biotechnology products in order to provide accurate and up-to-date scientific information.
  2. Serve as a subject matter expert in the field of life sciences and keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide scientific support and strategic guidance to clients throughout the drug development process.
  4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as a primary point of contact for all scientific inquiries and requests.
  5. Review and provide feedback on study protocols, reports, and other scientific documents to ensure accuracy and adherence to regulatory guidelines.
  6. Prepare and deliver presentations to clients and internal teams on scientific topics, including new product developments and industry updates.
  7. Assist in the development and implementation of scientific training programs for internal and external stakeholders.
  8. Support business development efforts by participating in client meetings and proposals, providing scientific expertise and insights.
  9. Stay updated on regulatory guidelines and requirements, ensuring compliance in all scientific activities.
  10. Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and procedures for greater efficiency and effectiveness.
  11. Act as a brand ambassador for PPD, promoting our mission and values in all interactions with clients and industry partners.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In A Scientific Field: A Scientific Affairs Specialist At Ppd Should Have A Minimum Of A Master's Degree In A Scientific Field, Such As Biology, Chemistry, Or Pharmacology. This Educational Background Provides The Necessary Knowledge And Expertise To Understand And Communicate Scientific Information Effectively.

  • Strong Research And Analytical Skills: As A Scientific Affairs Specialist, One Must Be Able To Critically Evaluate Scientific Data And Literature To Support The Development And Marketing Of Pharmaceutical Products. This Requires Excellent Research Skills And The Ability To Analyze Complex Data And Draw Meaningful Conclusions.

  • Knowledge Of Fda Regulations And Guidelines: Ppd Is A Leading Contract Research Organization That Works Closely With The Fda. Therefore, A Scientific Affairs Specialist Should Be Familiar With Fda Regulations And Guidelines, Particularly Those Related To Clinical Trials, Drug Development, And Marketing Approvals.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: A Significant Part Of The Scientific Affairs Specialist's Job At Ppd Involves Interacting With Various Stakeholders, Including Internal Teams, Clients, And Regulatory Agencies. Therefore, Strong Communication Skills And The Ability To Establish And Maintain Professional Relationships Are Essential.
