
PVG Manager (Client embedded)

- Develop and implement pharmacovigilance strategies and processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Manage and oversee all aspects of pharmacovigilance for our client, including adverse event reporting, risk management, signal detection, and safety monitoring.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of pharmacovigilance data to health authorities and other relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful completion of PVG projects and achieve project milestones.
- Conduct regular reviews and audits of pharmacovigilance processes to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Serve as the main point of contact for the client regarding all pharmacovigilance matters, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or issues.
- Stay current with industry trends and changes in regulations related to pharmacovigilance, and make recommendations for process improvements and updates to maintain compliance.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior PVG team members, promoting professional development and growth within the department.
- Ensure high-quality and accurate documentation of all pharmacovigilance activities, including case reports, safety databases, and other relevant documents.
- Represent the company and the client in meetings with regulatory authorities and other external stakeholders as needed.
- Identify and address any potential risks to patient safety and product quality, and develop risk mitigation strategies.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the pharmacovigilance department, identifying opportunities for process optimization and efficiency.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for pharmacovigilance processes, providing guidance and support to other departments as needed.
- Foster a culture of compliance and quality within the pharmacovigilance team and ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures.
Extensive Knowledge Of Pvg Regulations And Guidelines: The Ideal Candidate For A Pvg Manager (Client Embedded) At Ppd Should Have A Deep Understanding Of International Drug Safety Regulations, Including Ich Guidelines, Eu Regulations, And Fda Requirements.
Strong Project Management Skills: Ppd Is A Fast-Paced And Dynamic Environment, And The Pvg Manager Must Be Able To Effectively Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously, Ensuring Timely Completion And Delivery Of All Tasks.
Experience In Pharmacovigilance: A Successful Candidate Should Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Pharmacovigilance, With A Strong Understanding Of Adverse Event Reporting, Signal Detection, Risk Management, And Other Key Pvg Processes.
Client Management Skills: As A Client-Embedded Role, The Pvg Manager Will Be The Primary Point Of Contact For Ppd's Clients. Therefore, Excellent Communication, Negotiation, And Relationship-Building Skills Are Essential To Succeed In This Role.
Leadership And Team Management Experience: The Pvg Manager Will Oversee A Team Of Pvg Professionals, And Therefore, Should Have Prior Experience In Leading And Managing A Team. This Includes Delegating Tasks, Providing Guidance And Support, And Ensuring The Team's Overall Performance And Productivity.
