- Write and edit medical documents, including clinical study reports, protocols, investigator brochures, and other regulatory documents according to company and industry standards
- Conduct thorough research and review of scientific and clinical data to ensure accuracy and completeness of written materials
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinical research associates, data managers, and statisticians, to develop and finalize medical documents
- Act as the lead medical writer on assigned projects, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality documents
- Serve as a subject matter expert and provide guidance on medical writing best practices and industry guidelines
- Stay current with industry trends and regulations related to medical writing and incorporate them into document development
- Utilize strong project management skills to effectively handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- Communicate with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and address any concerns or issues
- Mentor and train junior medical writers to enhance their skills and knowledge in medical writing
- Participate in departmental and company-wide initiatives to continuously improve processes and procedures related to medical writing.
Advanced Degree In A Scientific Or Medical Field (E.g. Phd, Md, Pharmd)
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Medical Writing Within The Pharmaceutical Or Biotech Industry
Expert Knowledge Of Fda And Ich Guidelines For Clinical Trials And Regulatory Submissions
Strong Understanding Of Drug Development Processes And Clinical Research Methodologies
Excellent Communication And Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Lead And Mentor A Team Of Medical Writers.
