  1. Lead and supervise a team of operators to ensure efficient and timely production of pharmaceutical products.
  2. Develop and implement production schedules, ensuring that all deadlines are met.
  3. Train and mentor new team members, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
  4. Monitor and maintain quality control measures to ensure products meet industry standards and regulations.
  5. Collaborate with other departments, such as quality assurance and supply chain, to ensure smooth production processes.
  6. Troubleshoot any production issues and implement solutions to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
  7. Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
  8. Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations.
  9. Continuously seek ways to improve processes and increase efficiency.
  10. Communicate effectively with management and other team members to provide updates on production progress and any issues that may arise.
  11. Stay updated on industry trends, developments, and regulations related to pharmaceutical manufacturing.
  12. Lead by example and uphold company values and standards.
  13. Train and enforce good manufacturing practices (GMPs) among team members.
  14. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to team members.
  15. Identify and implement cost-saving measures without compromising on quality.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience In Manufacturing Operations: The Ideal Candidate For A Manufacturing Lead Operator At Ppd Should Have A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Manufacturing Operations, Preferably In The Pharmaceutical Industry. This Experience Should Include Knowledge Of Production Processes, Equipment Operation, And Quality Control Procedures.

  • Leadership Skills: The Role Of A Manufacturing Lead Operator Requires Strong Leadership Skills To Effectively Manage A Team Of Operators And Technicians. The Candidate Should Possess Excellent Communication, Problem-Solving, And Decision-Making Abilities, As Well As The Ability To Motivate And Train Team Members.

  • Technical Knowledge: A Manufacturing Lead Operator Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Gmp (Good Manufacturing Practices) And Other Relevant Regulations And Guidelines. They Should Also Have A Good Understanding Of Production Equipment, Troubleshooting Techniques, And Data Analysis.

  • Attention To Detail: As A Manufacturing Lead Operator, Attention To Detail Is Crucial. The Candidate Should Be Able To Follow Standard Operating Procedures (Sops) Accurately And Consistently To Ensure Product Quality And Safety. They Should Also Be Able To Identify And Resolve Any Issues That May Arise During The Production Process.

  • Time Management Skills: Ppd Is A Fast-Paced Environment, And The Manufacturing Lead Operator Is Responsible For Ensuring That Production Targets Are Met Within Strict Timelines.
