- Provide critical support to attorneys in managing and organizing complex and high-profile litigation cases.
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant information and documents for use in legal proceedings.
- Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
- Maintain and update case files, ensuring all relevant materials are organized and easily accessible.
- Assist in preparing for hearings, depositions, and trials by coordinating with attorneys, witnesses, and other parties involved.
- Communicate with clients, outside counsel, and other stakeholders to provide updates on case developments and gather necessary information.
- Collaborate with other members of the legal team to develop effective legal strategies and ensure the success of cases.
- Manage and maintain electronic databases and document management systems.
- Stay up-to-date on relevant laws and regulations in the pharmaceutical industry and apply them to cases as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in handling sensitive information.
- Proactively identify potential issues and provide recommendations to improve legal processes and procedures.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance legal knowledge and skills.

Bachelor's Degree In Paralegal Studies Or Related Field: Ppd-Pharmaceutical Product Development Requires A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Paralegal Studies Or A Related Field For Their Litigation Paralegal Position. This Ensures That Candidates Have A Strong Foundation In Legal Principles And Procedures.
Previous Experience In A Litigation Paralegal Role: The Ideal Candidate For This Job Should Have Previous Experience Working As A Litigation Paralegal, Preferably In A Pharmaceutical Or Healthcare Industry. This Experience Will Provide Them With A Solid Understanding Of The Specific Legal Issues And Regulations Relevant To Ppd's Business.
Knowledge Of Relevant Laws And Regulations: The Litigation Paralegal Job At Ppd-Pharmaceutical Product Development Requires A Thorough Understanding Of Relevant Laws And Regulations Pertaining To The Pharmaceutical Industry, Such As Fda Regulations, Drug Development Laws, And Intellectual Property Laws.
