EHS Specialist - Contractor Safety

3. Collaborate with various departments to assess and address safety concerns and issues related to contractor activities.
4. Train and educate contractors on safe work practices and procedures, including proper handling of hazardous materials and equipment.

8. Work with procurement to ensure that contractors meet all necessary safety requirements before being hired.
9. Conduct safety orientations for new contractors and oversee the completion of necessary safety training.
10. Serve as the main point of contact for contractors regarding safety concerns or questions.
11. Collaborate with the EHS team to develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures.
12. Stay informed about industry developments and advancements in EHS practices to continuously improve safety standards within the organization.
13. Participate in safety committee meetings and provide guidance and recommendations for improving workplace safety.
14. Conduct regular safety meetings with contractors to address any safety concerns and disseminate important safety information.
15. Proactively identify potential safety hazards and work with contractors to develop and implement solutions.
16. Act as a role model for safety by following all safety protocols and encouraging others to do the same.
