
Accounts Payable Representative
At PPD-Pharmaceutical Product Development, we are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Representative to join our Accounting team. The ideal candidate should have a strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.This role requires an individual who is a self-starter, highly organized, and capable of developing effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders. The Accounts Payable Representative will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and payments.Qualifications for this role include a minimum of 2 years of accounts payable experience, strong organizational and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a high level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Responsibilities of an Accounts Payable Representative:
• Process invoices and payments in a timely and accurate manner. • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders. • Resolve any payment-related issues or discrepancies with vendors. • Assist in the month-end and year-end closing process. • Prepare and review reports for the accounting team. • Reconcile accounts payable transactions. • Monitor and maintain accounts payable records. • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations. • Maintain a thorough understanding of accounting software such as Oracle and SAP. • Prepare journal entries and other related tasks as needed. • Assist in the preparation of audit documents. • Perform other duties as assigned.
