Job Description

Are you a creative and detail-oriented individual with a passion for design and home decor? Pottery Barn is seeking a Visual Merchandiser to join our team and bring our products to life in our stores. As a Visual Merchandiser at Pottery Barn, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing displays that showcase our products and inspire our customers. We are looking for someone with a keen eye for design, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.   1. Develop and implement visual merchandising strategies that align with Pottery Barn's brand image and aesthetic.
  2. Create eye-catching and engaging displays that effectively showcase our products and attract customers.
  3. Collaborate with the merchandising and design teams to ensure product placement and display design accurately reflect current trends and promotions.
  4. Maintain a thorough understanding of Pottery Barn's product lines and utilize this knowledge to curate visually appealing displays.
  5. Regularly review and update store layouts and displays to optimize traffic flow and maximize sales potential.
  6. Ensure all displays are properly stocked, maintained, and visually appealing at all times.
  7. Stay up to date on industry trends and competitor displays in order to continuously improve and innovate our visual merchandising strategies.
  8. Work closely with the store management team to ensure all displays are completed in a timely manner and meet company standards.
  9. Train and mentor fellow team members on visual merchandising techniques and standards.
  10. Keep accurate records of visual merchandising changes and expenses for reporting purposes.
  11. Adhere to safety and loss prevention policies and procedures to maintain a safe and secure work environment.
  12. Maintain a high level of organization and cleanliness in the visual merchandising area.
  13. Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and providing product knowledge to customers.
  14. Assist with setting up and taking down displays for special events and promotions.
  15. Contribute to the overall success of the store by actively participating in meetings, sharing ideas, and supporting team members.

Job Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's Degree In Visual Merchandising, Fashion Merchandising, Or A Related Field.

  • At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience In Visual Merchandising, Preferably In The Home Goods Or Retail Industry.

  • Strong Creative And Visual Design Skills, With A Keen Eye For Detail And Ability To Create Visually Appealing Displays.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, Including The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Effectively Communicate Visual Merchandising Strategies.

  • Knowledge Of Current Industry Trends And Techniques In Visual Merchandising, As Well As A Strong Understanding Of The Pottery Barn Brand And Aesthetic.
